Red tape and corruption in government agencies concerned in the housing development has been a stumbling block in solving the enormous housing backlog of our country. The private developers effort to construct low-cost, economic and affordable houses is the only way this housing backlog can be diminished and addressed. Since our government can not address the housing needs of its citizens, the least it could do is to help the private developers to expedite the processes the private developers has to go through in their projects.
