Appeal : PhilRES - HELP CDO Donation Drive

To all RESPs and Friends we are appealing for support and donations for the PhilRES HELP CDO Donation Drive for the victims of Typhoon Sendong. Please see instructions below  for details on how you can send your donations.
It's almost Christmas, maybe we could spare some gifts and donate instead to help the Sendong victims. Let's help lessen the grim in their predicament and make this season a happier one for the victims despite of what had happened. May God bless us all. Salamat po. 

PhilRES - HELP CDO Donation Drive

With regard to the HELP-CDO Donation Drive, I suggest the following process/manner of extending the donations for the many distraught victims in CDO:

1) For Donation in KIND (used clean clothing, shoes, school supplies, grocery items, medicines and other household goods) 

Individually, you can deliver or send donations directly to Cagayan de Oro City:

Delivery can be made via “door-to-door” service of LBC for FREE (pls. await announcements of designated outlets nationwide);
Another option is via Aboitiz - 2GO “door-to-door” delivery using their BUDGET BOX PROMO (which can allow up to 50 kls. in weight for 1-week delivery) at published rates of P520 only for MANILA-to-CDO and P710 only for LUZON-to-CDO, VAT-excl. (UNLESS, 2GO also announces its FREE-DELIVERY for the HELP-CDO RELIEF OPERATIONS DRIVE);

2) For Donation in CASH (for Philres-CDO in-trust for HELP-CDO Relief Drive):

3) Unless PHILRES-National Directorate advises otherwise, all donations in cash and kind will be turned-over by Philres-CDO to the XAVIER UNIVERSITY – BAGYONG SENDONG RELIEF OPERATIONS CENTER (under management of Fr. Eric Velandria S.J.) since they will be better equipped to handle mobilization and actual distribution of donated goods/cash to various CDO beneficiaries.
