Travel : Holy Week Train Schedules

Next to Christmas , Holy Week is the longest holiday in the country. For those planning to spend the long religious holiday somewhere, why not go south of Manila : Laguna, Quezon and the Bicol provinces? With so many historical Catholic churches in these provinces,  you can do  your religious obligations  and meditation but at the same time spend a great vacation. Here's a suggestion : do your " Visita Iglesia" (church visitations)  in these provinces and go to towns/cities with churches  near or along along the PNR train routes using the Bicol Express and Mayon Limited trains. Crazy idea or impossible? Not at all. Just schedule your itineraries and train trips; and book your train and hotel accommodations in advance.  Here's an example: spend your Holy Thursday and Good Friday (no trips on this day) somewhere in Laguna or Quezon, then  spend  Black Saturday somewhere in Camarines Sur or  Camarines Norte and finally celebrate  the Easter Sunday in  Albay. Looks like  fun, isn't it? Try!
