VERY IMPORTANT PhilRES-AIPO OFFICIAL PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
After a lengthy meeting with the members of the board of PRBRES and the Dr. Cirila Eden of the PRC Standards & Inspection Division yesterday afternoon at the PRC PAPRB Lounge, the Founding Trustees and Officers of PhilRES held a Special Emergency Meeting at another location and approved and adopted various resolutions last night related to the holding of the First Regular National Elections of PhilRES.
These various resolutions which were approved and adopted last night are hereunder abridged, summarized and publicly reproduced and disseminated for transparency, to wit:
Official sign-up and registration as members to Philres shall commence immediately for all those RESPs that shall be considered as "Members In Good Standing" for the purpose of exercising their rights to nominate, be nominated, vote, be voted upon, issue proxy as well as receive proxies in the First Regular National Elections to be held in 28 February 2012.
Proxies shall be used ONLY for the determination of the existence of a valid quorum and SHALL NOT be used to cast any proxy votes.
No filing fees shall be imposed on candidates.
All RESPs that shall comply with all pertinent membership provisions as required under Article XXX Transitory Provisions of PhilRES New By Laws until the cut-off date of 31 Jan 2012 shall be considered as Regular Members "In Good Standing" of PhilRES and receive the appurtenant benefits due thereof.
Annual Membership Dues collected during this period shall be P1000 and shall be applicable for the calendar year 01 January 2012 till 31 December 2012.
(P500 Local Chapter Annual Membership Dues + P500 Annual National Membership Dues).
One-time Application Fees and One-time Processing Fees are hereby waived during the effectivity of the provisions of Article XXX Transitory Provisions of PhilRES New By Laws for all individual applicants.
Correspondingly the One-time Local Chapter Application Fees and One-time Local Chapter Processing Fees are hereby waived during the effectivity of the provisions of Article XXX Transitory Provisions of PhilRES New By Laws.
National elections will be held on 28 February 2012 in Six (6) Regional Vote Casting Places.
Beginning January next year Application For Membership Forms and Member's Personal Data Sheets may be dropped-off at all Provincial Assessor's Offices & City Assessor's Offices nationwide to facilitate submission and collection of "Application For Membership Forms" and "Member's Personal Data Sheets". In the meantime, these forms may be sent directly or submitted to the PhilRES National Office at PHALTRA Bldg., #139 Matahimik St., UP Village, Quezon City, Metro Manila 1100, Philippines.
Received applications shall then be processed and thereafter applicants shall be advised and informed by the National Secretariat when to make their membership payments into Philres' designated bank account.
Payment for membership dues will be thru bank deposit which shall serve as the provisional receipts for those that tendered their payments. Official receipts shall be issued by PhilRES National Treasurer at a later date after bank tendered payments are confirmed by the PhilRES National Treasurer.
Philres shall announce the system for nominations and recommendations for the composition of Comelec members that shall oversee the First Regular National Elections on 28 February 2012.
All other procedures shall conform to Article XXX Transitory Provisions of the By Laws.
Other pertinent information relative to the holding of the First Regular National Elections will be announced forthwith. These and other relevant information shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation as soon as possible.
