The Department of Tourism promo campaign slogan "It's more fun in the Philippines" is trending online at the top spot at the moment. I guess the soft launch campaign and the slogan is a hit. I hope this converts into tourists arrival.
I hear comments saying it is really fun in the Philippines but how about our tourism infrastructures. Are they ready in case the millions of tourists arrive? Hotels? Transportations? Airports?
Airlines? etc.
Speaking of airlines, a very irate friend (he heads a "green", prestigious school's alumni association) sent me this comment on this blog. I guess he was so angry with his bad experience that he posted the comment on a subject not related to his comment. I hope somebody from Zest Air reads this. Here's his comment :
"ZEST air...it is bad enough your flight was extensively delayed...what is worse..arriving night time..and no lights and assistance to passengers alighting from the aircraft on your stairs..causing my 75yo father to misstep and me as well...NO representative whatsover at the arrival/baggage area...you are gonna hear from me in writing..."
This is not fun at all!
