Project Review : One Centris Place at Quezon City-CBD

Location, location, location. This is the factor most considered when deciding on investing in a new condominium project. Here is a new residential condominium project that is located in one of the best and  greenest locations in Metro Manila, the corner of Quezon Avenue and EDSA at East Triangle in Quezon City. The place where One Centris Place is located is actually a mixed-use development of commercial and residential projects called Centris, a project of Eton, one of the companies owned by taipan Lucio Tan.

Centris is just part of a bigger upcoming development called the Quezon City-Central Business District (also called the Triangle Park), similar to the Makati-CBD. The Quezon City-CBD is a real estate triangle composed of two smaller real estate triangles: the North Triangle and East Triangle bounded by EDSA, East Avenue, North Avenue, Quezon Memorial Circle and bisected by the Quezon Avenue.

The place is highly accessible by major roads in all directions. Located inside and in the peripheral of the Quezon City-CBD are 3 metro rail train stations, major shopping malls, hospitals, government agencies, parks,  entertainment districts and a golf course.

Perpendicular to the northern part of the QC-CBD is Mindanao Avenue which connects  directly to the new Mindanao Avenue Exit of the North Diversion road, making access to the North Diversion Road only in a matter of minutes.

The only drawback to this new condominium  project is its delivery date, which is scheduled on December 2015. If you don't mind the long wait, then it's one project worth investing in, location-wise.

Project Review : Ground Breaking of Thunderbird Condotel at Thunderbird Resort, Poro Point, La Union

The Thunderbird Resort at Poro Point had the groundbreaking ceremony last April, 29, 2012 for the Thunderbird Condotel portion of the resort. This starts the construction of the 51-unit Thunderbird Condotel which is part of the resort expansion development. The condotel units  will be sold to private investors (Note: a lot of the units are already sold), but these investors can have the opportunity to enroll the units they purchased as part of the condotel rental program. In this program, their units will be rented out as part of the hotel rented accommodations. And in return, they will be earning income, while they are not using their units.

Trivia : The Iconic Red Buses of London

If Manila has its "jeepneys", London has its red buses. These iconic red buses of London are currently being utilized by the Department of Tourism for its " I's More Fun in the Philippines" tourism campaign. Using the mass transport system of London to do this promotional campaign is a great idea, because these mobile advertising mediums are very effective and maximize the exposure of the campaign.

The picture below shows one of the  red buses of London with an "It's More Fun In the Philippines" promotional sticker on its side.
