Hong Kong now is not the same Hong Kong that it used to be. It has lost much of its cosmopolitan character. There's not much it can offer except shopping, their Disneyland (where many or majority of their performers and managers are Filipinos), and it's being a gateway to mainland China. Anyway, who wants to go to a place where many of its people are considered one of the rudest in the world. They even discriminate and look down on their fellow mainland Chinese. So if ever they would push through in canceling our visa-free privilege, it will be their loss not ours. No love lost for Hong Kong, if ever.
